ShowMe

Description of Tool or App

ShowMe is a free interactive whiteboard app. This app can be used by anyone including instructors and students. ShowMe allows users to create simple or complex lessons using a whiteboard. These lessons can be watched at any time from the ShowMe website (__www.showme.com__) the iPad app or any mobile device that has Internet capabilities. Using an assortment of colors you can annotate a picture or you can simply write out a lesson using your fingers. Sam Kim and Karen Bdoyan, the creators of the ShowMe app, put in a feature that will also allow you to narrate your presentation.

If you don’t have time to create a lesson no problem, ShowMe is also an online learning community that has an inventory of over 1.5 million teacher produced lessons (Hill, 2012). Social Studies, science, math and language arts are just a few of the subjects that can be found in the ShowMe learning community.
